MySpyShy Mini: Hidden Camera Detector

The MySpyShy Mini provides multiple modes to help you detect various hidden devices effectively. Follow these instructions for the best results:

Radio Wave Detection (for wireless cameras, audio bugs, etc.)

Note: This mode detects any device emitting a wireless signal (e.g., phones, WiFi routers, smart TVs). If you find a signal from an unusual location, such as a wall outlet or a hidden object, this warrants further investigation.

1. Power on the device: Long-press the power button for 3-5 seconds.
2. Start scanning: The blue indicator light at the bottom of the display will turn on, and the device will begin scanning for radio and WiFi signals.
3. Detect signals: If the blue light flickers rapidly and an audible signal is heard, it indicates a hidden wireless device nearby.
4. Adjust sensitivity: Use the function key to adjust sensitivity. More blue lights mean a greater range and higher sensitivity.

Hidden Camera Detection (for wired devices and memory card devices)

This is a manual process where you use the device’s bright red lights and lens to search for reflections from camera lenses. This mode is designed to find devices that aren’t emitting signals, such as wired cameras or those with memory cards.

Caution: Never look directly into the bright lights and avoid pointing them at someone's eyes.

1. Activate red lights: Press the function key to turn on the red lights on the back of the device.
2. Search the area: Slowly scan suspicious areas where hidden cameras could be placed. Get close to objects that could conceal a camera lens.
3. Use flicker mode: Pressing the sensitivity button will cause the red lights to flicker at different speeds, which is useful in various lighting conditions.

GPS and Magnetic Field Detection

1. Enable detection mode: Press the function key until the green light turns on.
2. Search for GPS trackers: Move the device near areas where GPS trackers or magnetic fields might be present, such as vehicles or personal belongings.
3. Detect magnetic fields: If a magnetic field is detected, the green light will stay on and an alarm will sound, helping you pinpoint the source.

Anti-Theft Alarm

1. Activate alarm mode: Short-press the function key until the top (sixth) blue indicator light turns on.
2. Enable anti-theft alarm: After 10 seconds, the alarm will be activated. If the device senses movement, it will emit a loud "Didi" sound.
3. Enable vibration mode: You can activate vibration mode by pressing the boot key. The device will vibrate when the alarm is triggered.

Additional Tips

• Adjust sensitivity: In all modes, you can use the sensitivity adjustment buttons to fine-tune the detection range.
• Charging: When not in use, charge the device using the Type-C port. A red light will indicate the device is charging, and the light will turn off once fully charged.
